Update: 4th of July Parade Postponed for 2020

To all of our friends,

As we all know, 2020 had brought upon unprecedented changes to Franklin Township, let alone the World. With heavy hearts, we have made the decision to postpone the Annual 4th of July Parade this year to ensure we protect not only our friends and their families, but also our Fire Fighters and their families. Unlike in prior years, where we have been able to get the station and apparatus prepared and ready for the parade and event, this year we have not utilized our facility over the last 3 months to ensure we followed social distancing and the CDC guidelines for safety. We have been responding to calls in a cautious and careful manner ensuring everyone’s safety and cleaning items used immediately before vacating the station, so there is no way we continue this year as we have in years past. We hope to have more information on future events soon and will wait for state and local guidance to see what options we have as we continue throughout the year. Thank you for all of your support and stay safe!
