Mission

The Middlebush Volunteer Fire Department has been providing VOLUNTEER service to the community since 1916. We currently provide fire protection and rescue services to the residents of Middlebush with pride and dedication.

The mission of this organization is to protect lives and property within Fire District One and Franklin Township, NJ. We are responsible for providing our members with the necessary tools and support to achieve this mission in a safe and efficient manner and for maintaining a good-natured social climate for our members and their families.

We are available to you 24 hours a day, 7 days per week, 365 days per year.

Last year, we responded to over 700 emergency calls. Our emergency calls, firehouse maintenance, and training exercises amount to a significant number of volunteer hours and dollars.

If you are interested in financially assisting our service to the community, please feel free and encouraged to donate. Every amount helps!

If you are interested in volunteering in either an administrative capacity or active firefighter role, please visit our Volunteer Info section of the website.  Below is the District Recruitment video which details the work the men and women of our Fire District put in day over day to protect our citizens.
